Fun, Existing, Entertaining, College Research, And quite possibly the most lazyest blog ever
I’ve gotta call up most of these places tomorrow or later on considering the time of this post but still due to the camp-site mucking us about one week saying week can film in the pub on site then week next telling us they cant let us do it we’ve now gotta find a place that will in a day….. so I jotted down all these places and there numbers so I’ll give them a bell “later” hopefully one will give us permission.

These are the first two sheets of storyboards that i have started, which are based off of the script written by Ashley Woolston.
From today, and over this weekend, my plan is to finish my personal storyboards and also rehearse my parts as i am one of the main characters.

Above is the equipment list that Ashley Woolston came up with today, which i decided to scan in and log here, as well as having a copy myself.
As for the news reporter role on the casting call on StarNow we now have 8 applications for the role 10 including the 2 I contacted that being number 4 & 5.
Today when I checked 7,8,9 & 10 were new to me but most interesting out of them is number 9.
I will keep this running till Friday the 18th then I shall start arranging auditions the following weekend then hopefully we can get round to filming the following week.

So today Tom asked if one member of each group would email him with times of when they need him to act so I made this little table in word and emailed it him I worked out the times to a talk I had with Jack so that our groups wouldn’t clash.
On another note our group has casted the other 3 roles that were coursing problems Laura is now a extra for the shortest time and conor has taken the release form to be one of the characters friends.
And after looking round all of college for Colin I found him and he said he will take the other place if he is free.
Here are all the release forms for the actors (Personal details blurred for privacy reasons) there are five on here for Harry & Adam also Nick for there pre-pro these are the five people our group need but we have four more parts to cast which we will need to sort out Thursday….
As for the casting call me and Nick where looking through the talent directory on StarNow and came across two actress that might be very good for the news reporter role, Felicity & Charlotte I contacted both of them about the role and got a reply from Felicity right away and we are in talks of auditioning her as for Charlotte still a waiting a reply.
Then when I got back from college I found out we got another application for the role Alessia she has a very impressive page full with her experience and previous acting roles and other work. So I will possible contact her at some point.
Today I was with harry as he once again tired to call up the parish (Church) So that’s all our locations sorted, other than that Nick got started on his own storyboards I’ve do more of mine at college I developed the script further a possible final draft and made some permission forms for locations Adam printed off the script for me & nick and we went off and read it through, and we had our group meeting with Helen.
Things we have to do I’d like to test a few scenes out in the next two days & finish the storyboards to get them out the way.
Here is an update on the casting call for the news reporter role in my groups film yesterday I got two new applications one more interesting than the other obviously picture number 3 “David” is very interested not as much as “Victoria” & “Liam” however Liam is the only actor from Blackpool so far. But we’ve still got another two weeks so I’ll let some more applications come in before I contact these people.
Here is what Nick gave me to his development to the script stuff in green is what I’ve agreed with and changed red I haven’t changed and orange is something I’m still deciding on.
As that is done I’ve now got a second draft to the script for the cast & crew to take a look at next week and they will be glad to here I’ve got a new working title which so far may be the final title.
I spent this morning spray painting the bb shotgun I bought last weekend for the location shoot in Abergele when I finished I thought I may as well do the pistol that came with it you can’t tell in the picture but it looks very worn so to speak and I’m very please they both still work after the painting and with how they came out in the end.
If you look at picture 2 that’s how it looked when I bought it a horrible orange colour…. which just doesn’t look realistic what so ever.
This has all came about as I came to thinking about casting The News Reporter for the small scene to be filmed here in Blackpool either before or after the trip to Abergele, I was originally thinking Colin I haven’t spoke to him about it at all but I may still consider him.
But I know how busy he can be around college.
So I advertised a casting call for the role on StarNow for those who don’t know what it is, its basically a site where you put out cast & crew calls or even yourself so that people may find you if your an actor for example or a cameraman people might come across your page and pick you to be in something there doing or you can apply to be in things you find advertised on there. it is a highly affective site and within the few months I’ve been on it I’ve been I’ve got auditions which sadly I couldn’t attend But I’ve also Filmed a small project for someone and I’ve recently applied to be an extra in some tv show in Manchester.
Back to subject I added an ad on there for the Role of the New-Reporter and within the first half hour got an application for the role as you will see in picture 4 above. Victoria left me a note and I looked over her page and must say its rather impressive in picture 5 I’ve gave an example as she was an extra in Olly Murs Music Video “Oh My Goodness”
So this has really been an interesting choice to put this role on StarNow Still I will wait a couple more days to see if any more people apply.
In the mean time I’ll keep checking back with that, Now I’ll concentrate on casting the last two murderer victims thinking about it now I need to get Harry to get permission to Film in that dark room in college so we can film the interrogation scene after the trip.
As for the rest of the group we all need to either get started on your own storyboards or continue them.

These are a few photos for production evidence.One thing to note is an early plan for the caravans was looked at by Helen Chiula. She asked people who they would like to be with in the caravans on the purpose that everyone is happy. She drew the layout of the caravans, their rooms and who would be in each and where.
I am in one of the single bed rooms, in the twin bed room is Ashley Woolston and Craig Taylor, and in the front is Conor Folks and Louis Ambrose.
Subject to change. (I hope not i got the bloody single bed!)
Getting away from Nick yapping about the sleeping arrangement what he forgot to mention was what’s going on in the pictures above, The picture I’m in I was looking through Jack’s groups schedules so I could work out how things would work out between our groups I’ve already touched on this subject that me and Jack have both had a discussion about everything schedules wise and our groups are not going to clash so its all good and sorted so I’m really pleased with our progress so far.

Scene 1 - Change it so head isn’t saying it as much.Scene 4- Change the line, “Another innocent victim” so that innocent is not in there.
Scene 7 - Maybe decide a week before hand what Welsh you want to speak.
Scene 8 - Put accused instead of blamed.
Scene 9 - Maybe cut…
I’ve spoke to Nick about his input into the script and I’ve taken on his input near enough all of them as I agreed his thoughts on change made more sense so that is something I will be getting on with asap.
Today Harry (Producer) has called up both the parish and the pub on the campsite the parish didn’t answer so we will try again on Tuesday as it is bank holiday Monday. The woman Harry spoke to was very good about the whole thing she told Harry she doesn’t see anything wrong with us Filming before they open so as long as we can get everything shot and done we will all be sorted
I still need to add things to the Script after getting feedback from Nick. Which I will do tonight.
